Gideon's Blog

In direct contravention of my wife's explicit instructions, herewith I inaugurate my first blog. Long may it prosper.

For some reason, I think I have something to say to you. You think you have something to say to me? Email me at: gideonsblogger -at- yahoo -dot- com

STRATFOR.com wonders whether the Israeli traitors - the ones who sold weapons and ammunition to Arafat's Tanzim - were deranged or whether they were part of a settler plot to foment Palestinian violence, and thereby trigger an explosion that would terminate the Oslo accords.

I ultimately agree with Stratfor that no explanation is entirely satisfactory. The amounts of money involved are too small to tempt someone to treason. But the idea of selling weapons in order to provoke a conflict is just too baroque.

In any event, this is a very distressing case.
