Good catch by andrewsullivan.com of a story on elite anti-Semitism in France: this The New York Observer story about the surprising cover of the French edition of Saul Bellow's Ravelstein. (By the way, I haven't read the book yet, but I thought I remembered hearing that Ravelstein was based not on Harold Bloom but on Paul Wolfowitz. Now I'll have to read it and form my own opinion.) |
