As expected, Sharon is heading home early after the current attack. That, presumably, was the point of the attack.

Do not be surprised if we see Israeli military action in Gaza, and soon. Sharon left Gaza out of Operation Defensive Shield because the fence seemed to be working, and because he is an advocate of "Gaza first" as an interim site for a Palestinian state. If the fence isn't working, the IDF will have to go in. Get ready for more ugly headlines.
